I've purchased quite a few servers, but recently I ran into an issue with one of my providers. Their storage server had a hard drive failure, which resulted in some data loss for users.I'm just curious — in situations like this, when a storage server's hard drive fails, what typically happens? Should the provider offer recovery points or backups, or is data recovery usually the customer's responsibility?
