DPReview, short for Digital Photography Review, has been the most thorough camera review site on the internet for decades. It publishes in-depth reviews of cameras, lenses, and accessories, with detailed test charts, sample galleries, and technical analysis. The reviews go far beyond spec sheets and marketing claims, measuring actual performance in areas like dynamic range, noise, autofocus, and video quality. The site also maintains a large Database of camera specifications and a forum where photographers discuss gear and technique.

Even if you're not in the market for a new camera, the reviews are educational — you learn what actually matters in a camera and how to evaluate image quality. The site was acquired by Amazon in 2007 and has faced changes in recent years, but its archive of reviews remains an invaluable resource for anyone buying camera gear.
